About
“Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed”…
So you want to know more about me, huh? Well, I don’t really know what to say. I’m just a regular guy, living in Silly Valley California, doing some sort of computer stuff.
I grew up in southern New Hampsire, an interesting place with a lot of nice trees and some good seasonal changes. After High School, I drove around for a while (cross country a few times). After that, I got tired of traveling and then got a “real” job working for a small company outside of Boston.
Eventually I decided to move cross country in pursuit of bigger and better things. Well, California has been very very good to me so far. I met a woman here, got a great job, followed by a great promotion, followed up by a switch to an even better job with a very big Finnish company that makes lots of little phones. Somewhere in there I bought an awesome car, acquired a menagerie of animals, and got married. Then I moved to Vegas, bought a house, and worked from home for a couple of years (And boy was that an experience! I promise I will write about it someday).
Eventually we got tired of the desert and moved back to Cali, I quit my job with the little phone company to go work for a real little company with big ideas about fixing e-mail. The e-mail company turned out to be a not-so-great-place-to-work, so I split and am now working for a startup that helps prove “It’s Not The Network”.
Some trivia about me:
My favorite book is “Watership Down” by Richard Adams
My favorite song is “Life’s been good” by Joe Walsh
My favorite movie is “The Matrix”
